他就问什么时候见好的。他们说，昨日未时热就退了。
Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
第二天，官府，长老，和文士，在耶路撒冷聚会。
And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,
又有大祭司亚那，和该亚法，约翰，亚历山大，并大祭司的亲族都在那里。
And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.
叫使徒站在当中，就问他们说，你们用什么能力，奉谁的名，作这事呢。
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
治民的官府，和长老阿，倘若今日，因为在残疾人身上所行的善事，查问我们他是怎样得了痊愈。
If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
我们当怎样办这两个人呢，因为他们诚然行了一件明显的神迹，凡住耶路撒冷的人都知道，我们也不能说没有。
Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
惟恐这事越传杨在民间，我们必须恐吓他们，叫他们不再奉这名对人讲论。
But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
于是叫了他们，禁止他们，总不可奉耶稣的名讲论教训人。
And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
彼得约翰说，听从你们，不听从神，这在神面前合理不合理，你们自己酌量吧。
But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
二人既被释放，就到会友那里去，把祭司长和长老所说的话，都告诉他们。
And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
